Just a Cup of Water

“For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward.” Mark 9:41

This promise is for the little common place acts, rather than for great deeds.

Kindness is the word for these small acts.

Kindness is love flowing out in little gentlenesses. It means we should live out our lives in such a way that these kindnesses will be perpetual benedictions wherever we go. If we love Christ we should then also love our fellow-men, and love always finds a way of helping.
