” I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6
The words of Jesus to all who would trust Him to be their Savior are the words “Follow Me.”
Sounds easy but it does take trust in His ability and most importantly His character.
I remember reading about a man on an African safari deep in the jungle. The guide before him had a machete and was whacking away the tall weeds and thick underbrush. The traveler, wearied and hot, asked in frustration, “Where are we? Do you know where you are taking me? Where is the path?!” The seasoned guide stopped and looked back at the man and replied, “I am the path.”
How many times have we felt the same way in our journey with God and when we ask the answer is not in the form of information but rather in His presence with us?
God doesn’t give us all the answers but He does give us all of Himself.
