UNFORGOTTEN BY OUR FATHER

“Are not five sparrows sold for two cents? And yet not one of them is forgotten before God.” Luke 12:6

The sparrow was so cheap that two of them sold for a cent. So insignificant were they that when four were bought for two cents the fifth one was thrown in for free. That extra sparrow was almost worthless in the vendors sight but is proof that nothing is insignificant to God.

The God of the universe is the God of the sparrow. As the sparrow is ever before the face of God and in His tender care, so are the most trivial details of our lives ever present, unforgotten, and tenderly cared for by our Father in heaven.
