“‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
I know that every day there are parents grieving and fearful over a child who has gone astray in some way. God’s word says there is nothing too difficult for Him and as a result we can personally know that God loves them even more than we do. The truth we must embrace by faith is summed up in these words.
“As we surrender our children to God through prayer, we can trust that they are in His hands and He’ll do whatever work He wants to do in them for His glory.
We can worry or we can pray.
We can stress or we can trust.
We can lose sleep by trying to control their every step or we can rest in the One who is already in control of their lives, whether they are acting like it or not.”
