“But My servant Caleb, because he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it.” Numbers 14:24
“A different spirit,” –what a wonderful description of this man of faith, and how it made him exceptional…
And Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all those who were selling and buying on the temple grounds, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And He said to them, “It is written: ‘MY HOUSE WILL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER’; but you are making it a DEN OF ROBBERS.” And those who were blind and those who limped came to Him in the temple area, and He healed them.” Matthew 21:12-14…
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things” ( Phil. 4:8).
Make this Christmas great by following the wisdom Paul wrote to the Philippians…
“And while He was in Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume of pure nard; and she broke the vial and poured it over His head. But some were indignantly remarking to one another, “Why has this perfume been wasted?”
But Jesus said, “Let her alone; why do you bother her? She has done a good deed to Me.” Mark 14:3,4,6.
Every day Jesus went forth into the sea of humanity and had multitudes coming to Him to have their needs met…
