“FOR YOU ARE MY LAMP, O LORD…”

There will be situations when difficult things will cast a darkness upon our souls.

It can be a time when true honesty might confess that we cannot find light within ourselves, or among our friends, or even in anything in the world.

But, the Lord who said “Let there be light” and there was light, can say the same thing again.

Yes, He will speak us into the sunshine again and highlight the darkest of clouds with silver linings and break forth colorful rainbows in the midst of dark downpours.

As His Word records, “For You are my lamp, O Lord; and the Lord illumines my darkness.” (2 Samuel 22:29)
