MY HIDING PLACE

If you are in the middle of a great struggle, it may lead to the moment where you realize deliverance cannot happen in your own strength. 

Don’t be like the drowning person who in panic or fear is fighting the rescuer. Let go, and call out to God in simple faith. Face the obvious fact that the problem or need is far too big for you to handle.

Use the very fact of your inadequacy as a springboard to a new, wholehearted trust in God’s unfailing promises. “You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” (Psalm 32:7)
