REPAIR THE PERSON!

Ephesians 3:20 speaks of God “who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” (Notice the word “within”)

 What good is it then if God heals you and keeps you alive for an extra twenty years if you will walk in disobedience for those twenty years?

What good is any external blessing without God’s peace and joy in our heart?

What’s the point of receiving a promotion and making a lot of money if our big fancy house is not a true home, but rather a ring of fussing and fighting?

Our problems are not merely due to our environment; they are deeply personal. Fixing up the environment does not often repair the person.
