Many years ago I was reading about the legend of the Solomon ring.
Though it is only a story attributed to Solomon that can’t be verified, but the truth it reveals is supported with the truth in God’s Word.
This special ring had a phrase inscribed on the inside of the band that was a humble warning to all who are at the pinnacle of success while at the same time giving a hopeful outlook to those in the valley of struggle.
The inscription reads, “This too shall pass.”
Every time I think of this story I am thankful to know the One who leads us to our mountain tops and guides us through our valleys. I find myself not focusing on the place but the Person in charge of the journey.
