There is great value in gaining the “birds eye view” of life.
It is the perspective promised us in Isaiah 40:31, “They shall mount up with wings as eagles.” Those valuable resources come to those who have waited upon the Lord. They give them the power to rise above things and see from the broader view. It gives them the advantage of a sense of proportion.
An attack at first can be intimidating, but the higher perspective can reveal that the duration and depth of the attack is short.
Paul had that perspective when he wrote, this “…light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” (2 Cor. 4:17)
Likewise it was from the heights that he wrote, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” (Rom. 8:18)
God will give you the strong wings like the eagle to triumph over turbulence and soar above the disappointments. You will be encouraged by the larger view.
