Last Sunday, Ryan Fawley shared some interesting and inspiring details regarding his recent missionary trip to Haiti.
He shared God called him to minister in Haiti, which he felt at the time was way out of his comfort zone, but he obeyed and joined a missionary group from his school.
He also shared Seeker’s generous donations contributed to the purchase of a fourth Christian Church which is located in a remote area in Haiti accessible only by moped and foot. Not only was thechurch purchased, but land was also purchased which would provide agricultural sustenance to the villagers.
Ryan visited the four humble churches in Haiti and remarked how moved he was during the worship services which were conducted in the Creole language; however, the move of God was readily understood.
Ryan will continue to share his experiences over the next few weeks in our morning services, and Pastor Bob Barnett will continue the Jonah series which highlights Jonah running from God’s calling and how Jonah received the Lord’s second chance. This equals the Lord’s “severe mercy” we receive when we flee His will.
Thankfully Ryan heeded God’s calling which affected the establishing of yet another Christian Church in Haiti, a country founded on witchcraft and voodoo practices.
God is good all the time!
