FEELING RESTLESS?

Being restless can cause you to act impatiently in ways you will later regret.

Moses was restless about the Israelites’ complaining and acted rashly by disobeying God.

Saul also disobeyed God in his restlessness to go into battle.

By contrast, though David had to wait a long time to be king after being anointed as a young man, he held out for God’s timing, even when it seemed that God had delivered Saul into his hands.

When you feel restless in your time of waiting, thank God for where you are now and wait patiently to discover the reason as God’s plan unfolds before you.
