God’s Love Displayed

On my drive today I paid particular attention to the many billboards that advertised various products or services. They carried a message to be read by those in close enough proximity to read or see them. All were placed near an area that would be traveled.

Not a single billboard had “a say in their placement,” but they were put there by a higher wisdom. Some were along beautiful hills, some in the bleaker desert areas, some close to ocean mists, and others on roadways high in the mountains.

But all had one purpose: display the message to passers by.

And that in a nutshell is the task of every Christian. It doesn’t matter where you have been placed – just display the message of God’s love and salvation.
