God’s Promises

Remember that it is God’s power that will keep God’s promises.  Our weakness cannot defeat God’s promise, nor can our strength fulfill it.  The same God who spoke the word, will Himself cause it to come to pass.  What He does is by grace, and not as a result of our skills, talents, intelligence, or good works.  A promise is like a signed check that only has to be presented towards any debt.  We, by faith, must take the check, and He will honor it.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”  Hebrews 10:23
